Single Origin Coffee
Well-recognized for having bright acidity and a complicated flavor, Rwandan coffees always come from highland farmlands of Rwanda; they are quite berry flavored, citrus-like, tropical fruit, but body to the cup medium bodied, clean with a refreshingly crisp end.
Coffee is part of the very fabric of Rwandan culture, dating back centuries in history. It is taken socially to bring people together and bond. The Rwandan coffee ceremony is the traditional process of roasting green coffee beans over an open fire, grinding it by hand, and then brewing it in a clay pot. This is always accompanied by singing, stories, and shared meals as part of the cultural event.
